New
"WideDrive" MonstaBelt is ~1.20 inches (30mm) wide and
uses the newest technology in high strength power transmission belting available.
Lower highway RPM's
with the 2.22:1 final drive ratio. This drive ratio has been tested
extensively and works great at all speeds. The Marauder engine has
plenty of torque to handle this drive ratio throughout the power
bands.
RPM's with our drive
ratio is ~2750 @ 60 mph. RPM's with original sprocket combination is
~3800 @ 60 mph. Gives an approximate 28% reduction of engine RPM's
at highway speeds! Feels like you have a 6th gear. No more of that
highway 'buzzing' feeling like you have with your chain drive.
No more cleaning of
chain grease and grime from your rear wheel and tire.
No more of that nasty
chain lubrication maintenance and routine chain adjustments.

The newest development by ScootWorks for the Suzuki Marauder VZ800. This new system in development since 2006, utilizes a carbon fiber/kevlar/teflon blend technology and precision CNC accuracy for superior strength and fit. This is the system for everyday cruisers, commuters, as well as those who are heavy on the throttle, love to do burnouts and wheelies, or are otherwise 'spirited' riders :-)
Our newest CNC Equipment expansion allows us to bring this to life for many motorcycles originally equipped for chain drive. LOW belt tension makes for easier setup and maintenance, 14mm belt tooth profile allows for a slip-free system, and the newest belt technology was implemented for LONG LONG LONG belt life.
This system is a completely new design, from the pulleys, drive hub, belting, flange retainment, and more. This is the technology found in our new line of MondoDrives for high performance cruisers and sport bikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa and Triumph Legend. The ratio of this system is 2.20:1, similar to a common sprocket setup for more relaxed highway cruising of a 18 tooth front and 40 tooth rear sprocket. Just right to let your bike rumble comfortably on the open road.

strongly recommends that you use a tension gauge to correctly set
the tension of your replacement belt. If you do not have a tension tester purchase
